I feel like I squeezed every inch out of this season. October was beautiful and I was outside a lot for it.

I can also tell you that come 1st November I’m having a day off. But I’ll probs be back in the sea again real soon. It’s irresistible.

Thanks for your support and encouragement. Together we raised almost £300, which is a whole lot more than my annual membership fee, so yay!

I’m so glad we were able to raise this money and help keep @surfersagainstsewage on the case for cleaner seas 🌊

Srsly tho, my brain too easily wonders how to package up moments of beauty into some digital format, rather than just *appreciating it*.
A quick square like this ain’t scroll-stopping. But the half hour I had out on the rock looking towards Lundy did stop my brain’s auto-scroll, constant thinking mode.
Butterflies and jackdaws and waves and lines in stone and grasses.
My body feels different after I sit like this for a while. Like, I finally stop focusing on my head and the rest of me relaxes 🧘‍♀️You too?

Anyone else get this? I will spend longer thinking about doing a thing than actually getting on and doing it. But when I finally leave the procrastination station it sure does feel satisfying to see a project through.
This one is in prep for an October camping trip. Autumn campouts require a little extra insulation 🍂

How hard is it to make those family plans happen?! We’ve been talking about this little overnight trip to Newtown for years. With another summer ending, we realised we were at risk of it being all talk. So, we bundled sleeping bags and snacks into the hull and took a mini trip.
Grateful to be learning new things and spending quality time with bro and dad.
👉🏼 if you’ve been talking about that trip for a while, maybe just put a date in the diary and make it happen… 💕

I’m not a perfectionist. But that’s because I just avoid STARTING.
I get analysis paralysis, wanting all the pieces just right before I begin.
Whether it’s painting a wall, practising yoga, or writing a report, the start is the biggest hurdle.
You too?

Sometimes I hack it by telling myself I only have to do the thing for ten minutes (or five!)
Just start. I promise it’ll be ok. 🧚🏼

1) Think about any times when you need a ‘reasonable adjustment’ to access a space. How has it felt for you to ask for that?

2) Notice when you feel confident accessing a space and look out for ways to make sure others feel able to ask for what they need.
